
Project Management Fundamentals
Project management isn’t just for construction engineers and military logistics experts. Today, in addition to “regular” job duties, managers, supervisors, and team leads are often expected to take on extra assignments— to get that additional job done well, under budget, and on time. This course provides an introduction to the most common terms and the most current thinking about project management.
- Students will learn:
- – Initiate, define and organize a project
- – Develop a project plan, including determining a critical path
- – Assess, prioritize and manage project risk
- – Execute projects and monitor and control progress
*This is a two-week course [30-course hours]
*Recomended Prerequisites: Basic computer knowledge, MS Word, and Excel experience
