Project Management Fundamentals (Week 2)
Project management isn’t just for construction engineers and military logistics experts. Today, in addition to “regular” job duties, managers, supervisors, and team leads are often expected to take on extra assignments—and to get that additional job done well, under budget, and on time. This course incorporates the most common terms and the most current thinking about project management.
Students will learn:
- Initiate, define and organize a project
- Develop a project plan, including determining a critical path
- Assess, prioritize and manage project risk
- Execute projects and monitor and control progress
*Prerequisites: Basic computer knowledge, MS Word and Excel experience.
*This is a two week course*
